What can you expect at your first appointment?  Friendly caring staff and excellent physical therapy that makes an immediate impact on your condition.

When you first arrive

You should be at least 10 to 15 minutes early for your first scheduled treatment session.  You will have some minor paperwork to fill out  and an initial meeting with our Patients Relations Officer who will verify your health insurance and ensure you understand our billing procedures and the estimated cost of a visit if this information was provided by your insurance company during insurance verification.

Standard Treatment Protocol

After handling the paperwork you will begin our Standard Treatment Protocol, which you will follow on each of your subsequent visits.  Standard Treatment Protocol consists of:

  1. Thirty minutes of Manual Physical Therapy applied by one of our licensed physical therapists.
  2. Modalities, which are hot packs, cold packs, ultrasound and electrical stimulation.  All modalities are prescribed by your therapist to aid in healing and speed your treatment.
  3. Gym exercises tailored to where you are at on the Scale of Function.  The gym is very important as it solidifies and strengthens the gains made earlier with your physical therapist during your Manual Physical Therapy.

Check Out

After your treatment is done you will stop by at the front desk to handle any scheduling, payment of co-pays or other administrative actions to keep your treatments rolling forward and on track to a successful recovery.

How Long Does this Take?

Your initial visit will be slightly longer than a normal visit, about an hour and a half.  Your subsequent visits will usually take about one hour.
